When looking at the reviews for this business, I was extremely excited to book my appointment for natural twists with no extensions. Keep in mind, I booked this appointment because I noticed my hair was slightly heat damaged and I wanted a natural, protective style to give my hair a break for a little. Upon walking in, I was greeted by asking if I had an appointment - a good start, no complaints. A couple minutes later, I was instructed to head toward the washing area. During this time, I knew that it was going to be a not great experience. During my wash, the person was washing my hair very aggressively - don’t get me wrong, I love an elbow-deep wash, that feels good, NOT someone’s nails scratching my scalp in the way I received. Thanks Grace for doing my hair today! I can say that she was very gentle with my hair and made sure to not braid tight and kept it moisturized. I can say a lot of braiding salons do not know how to care for natural hair but this salon definitely does! I will make sure to come back. I also like how the prices are set because some salons try to make up the prices. I did pay for medium length I thought it would be a little longer in length but I think the curls kind of made it look shorter. However I’m appreciative of the work and this was my first time booking a braiding appointment online.

I loved my experience from start to finish. The ladies there were very nice and made sure that I was taken care of and were very professional. The shop is very aesthetically pleasing and clean. The quality and precision of my braids is top tier. I’ve gotten so many compliments since. I highly recommend!

I really liked the way my hair turned out. My stylist was very talented and the hair wash was relaxing and thorough. I only deducted one star because my appointment started late, plus no one said anything when I entered the salon and waited there without being helped. Assisting each other helps the business, even if I’m not your customer.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Extremely unprofessional experience. After she arrived 30 minutes late for my appointment, she tried to swindle me by adding unclear last-minute charges and changes that were never explained upfront. When I asked about the up charge for short hair, she couldn’t provide one. Just “soooooo much money”. **money was not an issue, however failing to be able to tell me a price IS*** Attached is the short hair they advertised servicing, which is why I booked in the first place. The braider also racially profiled me, making dismissive and inappropriate comments because she assumed I was Black American— not realizing I also speak French.. Respect and transparency should be standard in any service, and this experience had neither. I would not recommend. PS, Tout le
