I typically leave only good reviews, but in this instance , I feel compelled to share my experience. I visited the salon for a simple edge trim, unfortunately the service was horrible, and stylist insisted that this was the intended outcome. As they say “ a picture is worth a thousand words.” What I asked for what I got.

Stopped by Yissel Dominican Barber Shop & Beauty Salon for a haircut and beard lineup and had a great experience. The barbers are skilled and really take their time to make sure everything is sharp and clean. The shop has a friendly vibe, and you can tell they care about their customers. Walked out feeling fresh and well taken care of—definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a quality cut and lineup in the area.

I searched for a long time for a good hairdresser, and I found him here. I used a picture as a reference, and they did it exactly like that. The result exceeded my expectations.

Yissel here is amazing, I come here every time I have an event and she always has me looking the very best 😍! I have naturally curly hair so I’m very cautious of where I get my hair straightened because of heat damage but I haven’t experienced any changes in my curls after washing out the blow out with her!
