My experience was amazing. As soon as I arrived, the stylist was ready to begin. The establishment was beautiful & immaculate. The stylist was professional & meticulous with each braid. They were done even better than I asked. Quality & care are very important to me & their service was too tier. I am a forever customer!

Let me start by saying this… YFA Lux NYC had me at “all-inclusive braiding salon.” From the start, the booking process felt almost too good to be true — you simply send a message, ask for availability, select your style and preferred hair color, and that’s it. No deposit, no stress, just ease. I was already impressed. I’m from Long Island, and let me tell you, we don’t have anything like this out there. So when I arrived at the salon, I was immediately blown away. The space is beautiful, the energy is peaceful, and the braiders were already hard at work — stretching hair and preparing for clients before we even sat down. Let me say, the fact that they prepare the hair before you arrive, even without a deposit, shows how much care and trust they put into their work. That kind of dedication

This wasn’t just braids… this was customer service done RIGHT. Clean salon. Smelled good. Greeted at the door. Coat taken. Drinks and snacks served. The vibes? Immaculate. Small waist-length Senegalese twists took 7 hours and every minute was worth it. The precision? Elite. The professionalism? Top tier. YFA and her team understood the assignment. My sister and I got to the salon at the agreed upon time and were admitted immediately. I was struck by the cleanliness of the salon as well as the fact that it was by appointment only. I like to be discreet and I don’t want a 1000 eyes watching (and making comments) about what I do with my hair. We were greeted by two very sweet women and work began immediately. No waiting for hours because someone overbooked. They took our coats and made sure we knew the WiFi password. The owner stopped by and made sure we had snacks and champagne. There was a charging station for our devices and tasteful music in the background. Book it!! Thanks all I can tell you, because the service alone is fabulous and so professional. When you are done getting your hair done at YFA Lux, there is no other braiding company you will want to use for your hair styles. The talent that each braider has is unbelievable so it doesn’t matter who touches your head you will leave satisfied with a beautiful style. I am grateful I found this company and will forever refer people I know to them because they are just that good! If you want compliments and a style that will last you MONTHS then do not hesitate to book with them, they are definitely worth the cost and investment. Do it and just thank me later.
