Yes Mama Wine Bar: A Puerto Rican & Spanish Catering Kitchen

I cannot say enough great things about Yes Mama Wine Bar. After another caterer fell through, I reached out on Friday, hoping for a miracle, and she came through in the biggest way for my Benito Bowl / Super Bowl party on Sunday. Not only did she agree to cater on very short notice, but she arrived early, fully prepared, and with such a warm, professional, and upbeat energy. On top of the food we ordered, she went above and beyond by bringing extra treats, utensils, condiments, and additional portions, which was incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated. The food was absolutely outstanding. We ordered yuca, empanadas, arroz con gandules, tres leches, pollo, bacalao, and more, and it was a huge hit. Wow! The best meal I’ve had in Astoria in a long time & I’m a native Astorian. We had the chef special burger & the ratatouille tacos. The service is super friendly & attentive. The chef serves the food. The ambiance is magical. Thank you Yes Chef!!! I’m looking forward to coming back.

I have literally NEVER had a bad time at Yes Chef. If you're looking for SICK VIBES, awesome tunes, and a dope atmosphere, COME HERE! Chef and Phillip are 2 of the chillest guys you will ever meet!
