Went in for a blowout with my hair already washed just needed to get my hair mask washed out and get my hair conditioned. The most painful part was her trying to separate my hair to start blowing it out. I have 4b/4c. It felt like and sounded like she was ripping my hair apart. She didn't even try to detangle my hair in the bowl with conditioner. When she was done, I noticed she turned on the flat iron, then a couple of seconds later she tried to put grease in my hair and flat iron it. As a black you don't put grease on hair before you flat iron it, it fries the hair. The only good thing is that she was done fast, about 30 minutes. I'm still in disbelief that my hair almost got fried.

The stylist that did my hair was a sweetheart, she made me feel very welcomed. The place is small, as it seems the shop is split by a wall, where there is a barbershop on the other side, but they set it up so you're comfortable.

Went for a wash and blow dry with trim. Horrible experience. The lady that was suppose to wash my hair had someone in front of me and didn’t rinse the bowl out after she was done with her. I ask her to rinse the bowl out and take out the lady hair that was left inside of the bowl. She had an attitude. She started putting gloves on, got Clorox and started scrubbing the bowl. After that she didn’t even wash my hair. She started washing someone else hair afterwards. That was very unnecessary when I just asked her to rinse the bowl out. At the end of my service it’s time to pay. Yani charged me a wash and blow dry with trim for $50 but when I came 3 months ago, I got a wash & blow dry, trim and deep condition for $50. Best Dominican Salon I’ve ever been too and best salon I’ve ever experienced. They are professional and treat you like family. My daughter, aunt and grandma has used their service. I started to go there couple years ago, I went on google and was calling to see how much to wash and set my sew in. One Salon said they don’t do that and found Yani and I go there often now. Recently she did a color, cut and curl for me and I love my hair so much! Im Forever a customer!

I came in for a wash & set desperately for a blow-out after growing my hair (NO HEAT) for 2 years.. I also added a deep condition and trim for healthier results. Not to find out a week later my hair can’t curl anymore. My edged is completely burnt and the hard effort I put to keep thick and healthy. Gave me more depression then ever to have people you trust offer you service to only make matter worst. Please if you are FULLY! natural please save yourself and don’t go to this salon . If you are a victim like me please contact me we can work something out to not have them do this EVER AGAIN. SMH
