Yalo's Hair Braiding

Pros: Very accommodating and communicative Cons: They don’t do what you ask. I have low density hair so I ask for knotless with thin extensions. They sat and laughed to one another in their language ( I used a translator) about the idea of knotless. When I left to my home I realized they did not do knotless. My hair was insanely tight and too heavy for my scalp.

I had an AMAZING first experience with these braiders. They were recommended to me by my coworker, but I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews. I'm so glad I took the chance. My appointment was at 2 pm and I arrived exactly at 2. I was greeted by two very pleasant ladies who started on my head right away. I had small Senegalese twists, and the price quoted over the phone was the price I paid. They both worked on my head, so the process was very quick. The braids are not tight, just tender.(if that makes sense) I have added some photos. Excuse my edges, I asked that they not braid it. Thanks for the kindness extended during the process. It was very tasty!! You have a new customer.

Very bad business?!! And very unprofessional I had a 9am appointment set even called five minutes before to confirm and everything was good until I arrived! I got there and it was four other clients outside saying they had 8 and 9 am appointments . My appointment got canceled and rescheduled for 3:30 I came back on time and still didn’t receive my service until 5 once getting in the chair with yola the owner!!! She started on the side of my head and about four braids in took an hour break and disappeared to idk where. Came back picked up her speed but I noticed that my knotless were VERY sloppy ! When asking her to fix the problem she got very nasty about it saying she didn’t feel like it and that she was tired with no time to go back to fix over work and complete my hair. She said if I di

Worst African shop ive ever been to . I was quoted 180 over the phone and Told $240 when I arrived. I suppose to have small knotless but they are very lumpy at the root and sloppy . I notified the woman that was doing my hair that it was sloppy and asked her to beating up & she claimed that my hair was “ soft” . I have 4c natural hair ! My appointment was at 9am and she arrived at 9:47am after I called and reminded her of it. After arriving late she did 5 braids and then stopped to eat breakfast. Don’t go there . This is your warning and their reviews are fake. I’m not a review writer but I did it because this was terrible

Stay away at all cost. The hairstylist does not do good work. It was late and I didn't think to check my hair because it was down. My hair looks as if I have had it for months and it's only been days. The place is unsanitary and the children are constantly crying. Worst Experience ever! Stay away
