Yadira's Beauty Salon

I've been coming to this place for years. Their prices are reasonable and the hairdressers may as well be family at this point. You will not get the fancy frills here, no scheduling, no hot towels, this is very much a beauty salon. But I think they do a great job and definitely recommend them!

Lady in the back near the snacks is the best I always wait on her to cut my hair some of the best fades around town.

They cannot cut wavy hair. They will butcher your hair here. I went in for a simple trim. No layers no nothing. The lady went in with a blunt knife to my hair and yanked it out. They are horrible with customer service and in general at cutting hair. Do not recommend. I had to go to a different shop to fix the damage they did here. I cannot repeat how much this place hires the worst people. It's like they've never cut hair and were suddenly handed a pair of scisors/knife and a check and told they work here. Only go here if you want your hair damaged beyond real repair.

I get my haircuts here, it's $14 dollars I think on regular days, and $10 on Wednesdays. If you have Latin hair, I highly recommend getting your haircut here. Several other places I tried just didn't know what the heck they were doing. It's a great place to get your haircut, the owner Yadira is extremely good at her profession. She'll spend as much time as needed to do a good job(you'll see her constantly go back to touching up your hair to make it perfect, paying a lot of attention to detail), and shortens sideburns correctly (many places don't do this right!). Try to go in the mornings, as it won't be crowded. It's gets full pretty quickly if you wait till everyone starts getting off of work. They speak very little English here, so it helps if you can speak a few basic phrases in

Has a nice variety of hair styles and dyes, but there is always too many people who have been waiting for two hours. They do their job too slowly. Otherwise it is okay.
