I have visited Y2K Nails multiple times, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. This visit was particularly unsatisfactory, notably after choosing their higher-cost pedicure option. I was seated with an older gentleman who seemed to overlook several important aspects of the service. While he applied a salt scrub and used hot towels, he ultimately clipped my nails and missed key steps that were promised in the pedicure package. Notably, there was no proper cleaning of the nail beds, despite his insistence that he had completed this step. Additionally, he barely scrubbed my calluses, which was explicitly included in the service I selected. Great service. A friend and I walked in around 9:35am on Picnic day and they fit us right in. Both had gel mani and pedi, done in a little under 2 hours. They were kind, salon was dated but clean. Prices were competitive, if not cheaper than other places I’ve been in this area. We will be coming back!

The lady doing my gel pedicure damaged my nails so badly. She didn’t file down the old gel polish and used her fingers and cuticle nippers to literally pull it off which damages your nails. I asked her to use acetone and the nail drill and she didn’t. Since she thinned out my nails so badly and parts of it were flaking off, she then used the cuticle nippers to rip off parts of my nail. She pulled off the gel polish so hard it ripped off the white part of my nail and caused me pain. She ruined my nails.

Nice people. My nails came out pretty nice, but it could have been better. I has asked for my middles nails with glitter lile an ombre, however it was more like half with glitter and half without. My lady also used her finger to wipe off some of the glitter off which meant that she had to layer the glitter even more. A couple of my nails ended a little uneven, but you can't tell too much. She did take her time and was careful with her work.

Y'all they kicked me out for having tourettes, before I developed the disorder I loved getting my nails done here. When I came in (early may 2025), four people were working and I was the only customer, they told me because of my tics "scaring them" they couldn't do my nails. Mind you my tics are very managed and the loudest/most disruptive tic would be a whistle or clicking sound. It was completely not Ok and I have no respect for this business anymore.
