Y2K Nails III

Came in with no appointment on a rainy day. I’ve never had acrylic or done the powder method on my nails, and I showed one of the nail techs a picture of what I had in mind. Ombré, white and pink almond shape. Eddie did my nails with such detail and beautifully!! I love them. Thank you so much.

It was my first time coming here, so I opted for the basic pedicure for $35. The application felt rushed with very little drying time between coats. Time will tell as to whether or not the pedicure lasts (they use their own polish and do not have OPI or other "name brands" to choose from). Based on the service I received, this will not be my "go-to" place and I would NOT recommend this nail salon if you are looking for a little pampering.

The result was a pedicure id expect from a beauty school. Well, I guess I should’ve looked at the reviews first, but me and my husband had some time to kill and decided to get pedicures. I usually do them myself as I Haven’t been able to find someone that can do it just right, but we wanted to relax and do something together so we randomly chose this place. To start off, they weren’t very welcoming. We kind of just sat down and they got to work and didn’t really ask us about what we wanted. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot as I said I haven’t found anybody who can do my pedicure just the way I like it even though I don’t think I’m too picky. Kathy is my new go to nail & toe girl. She did a great job on both. She was so nice. The whole shop was full of friendly employees. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.

By far the absolutely worst nail experience I have ever ever had. I showed the male nail tech the cat eye color I wanted. First, he put the wrong color on. Then repeatedly argued with me to try to convince me it was correct. Then he found the correct color and painted over the wrong color with the correct color. He repeatedly tried to put the cat eye line on the nail and each time he failed to do so. Then he painted over my nail at least 4 times trying repeatedly to put the cat eye streak. He managed to do it correctly on my left nail, but repeatedly could not do so on the right nails. It was so badly done and several nail coats later, I eventually realized that he did not know how to do cat eye. So I said he could remove the coat and just do a plain nail color.
