I came in for a blowout wanting big, bouncy waves, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. My hair was never rough-dried first — the stylist worked on random sections while parts were still wet, then used an oversized curling iron that made my hair go flat within 15 minutes. The wash and conditioning were extremely rushed, no purple shampoo was used (even though my blonde hair clearly needed it), and the result was dry, and lifeless. I have to restyle my own hair tonight for the event i was planning to do this for. For $80, I expected a professional, polished finish — this felt careless and inconsistent. I left with my hair looking worse than when I came in.

Nigel is THE most talented hair stylist I’ve ever met! My hair was always dark, stubborn and won’t retain any color — until I found Nigel! Nigel listened to my concerns and studied my hair carefully, he even takes notes every time he complete a balayage for me. My hair transformation has been unbelievable. His skill is unmatched and I never knew my hair could look so vibrant and beautiful. Most importantly, his color placement is so natural that it looks fabulous even when the dark roots start to grow out again. Talking about having luxurious look effortlessly! Also I absolutely love the environment of XOXO. Everyone works here is friendly and funny. It’s constantly light-hearted jokes and laughter, and makes hours sitting in a chair much easier. XOXO Salon is the best place in Denver to get your hair cut. Sandy's attention to detail and bubbly personality has always kept me coming back. The price is great and staff is always in a great mood. I keep Sandy's cards with me and pass them out to everyone. Whenever someone takes me up on my suggestion to visit Sandy they become loyal clients too.
