Workbox Chicago - Union Station

My friend was visiting me and we both work from home, so got a couple of day passes for the West Loop Workbox. The space was amazing and just what we needed, they had common areas for both of us to work in and phone booths (first-come-first-serve) for calls. It was a great time and the staff was the absolute best, making sure we were situated and super attentive. Check in was easy and the free coffee was great as well, I would highly recommend Workbox for anyone who may be visiting and need a dedicated place to work, or for people who may just want to change up their scenery day-to-day. It also happened to be National Doughnut Day when we were there and they had free doughnuts!

I requested a day pass online for 8/22, was not approved until 8/25, and then was charged $35 after I already left Chicago. They refused to offer me a refund despite not getting the pass for the day I requested and I had to initiate a chargeback due to their poor customer service. Long story short, do not use this coworking location if you have any time constraints as they will charge your card even if you don't actually receive the pass for the dates requested

Started a new job about six months ago, and my company works out of this location, so I’ve been here almost every day since. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about a shared workspace, especially since I’ve always loved coming into a traditional office. But turns out, I absolutely love it. The Workbox team plays a big part in that. They’re incredibly kind and professional, and Sarah, the community manager, is always around to answer questions or lend a hand when my team or I need anything. They also host fun monthly events, usually centered around some kind of tasty treat (either purchased or whipped up in the kitchen). The location itself is perfect—close to Greektown and full of that classic old-Chicago character. Easy 5 stars from me.

Such professionals at this location! Walked in and received the nicest greeting and so at ease. Highly recommended location for those who want that private, yet professional and modern office. The energy of the office is great and welcoming! Excited to see more things and looking forward to the networking events that will take place here as well! 😊

Really silent and good coworking space for anyone who wants a change of scenery from home to get some WFH/remote work done!
