Woodhouse Spa - Sugar Land

I've been here numerous times over the years and always left feeling better than I did upon arrival. NOT the case today. Worse massage I've ever had - I could barely feel it and left with dry skin. Oh, but my hair was oily. The masseuse was not interested in my body at all. She didn't ask if there were areas of concern, etc. When I told her my lower back and right side sciatica were hurting, she replied that would need to be a deep tissue message not a swedish massage. I have never been told that before. I don't like deep tissue - It hurts me. I'm 72, I just wanted some attention in that area, which I have gotten before from Sonja, who actually cares and always gave a great massage. Always come here! Staff is always friendly and welcoming. All the massage therapists I’ve worked with have been great. Recently, I’ve been using Lacy and she is really awesome! Kind and skilled.

Very disappointing experience at the Sugar Land location. My daughter and I were left waiting in robes for over 30 minutes with no explanation after our massage. We were then told our facial services were unavailable and that staffing issues prevented my daughter from receiving a pedicure — none of this was communicated in advance. Management never came to speak with us as promised. When the manager finally called, she was dismissive, unprofessional, and refused to offer any compensation or refund for services not provided, saying only that “accidents happen.” This is unacceptable for a luxury spa with high prices. Poor communication, poor management, and no regard for customer service. I do not recommend it

Relaxing environment with very friendly staff. Personable and welcoming! Second facial I’ve gotten and already want to come back. Tried the full body massage as well and loved it 😊

The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars when I always give 5 because Jackie is so good, is because of the front desk staff. They never remember me.They always explain everything to me as if I'm a first time guest.Even if they don't recognize me (which I don't know how they couldn't when I come every two weeks!) they should see in your system that I'm a regular. Also, if they offer a drink snd don't bring it, a client shouldn't have to ask a second time.
