Wide Awake Studio

I had an appt with John for 3 weeks and at 2:15am he cancelled due to family being down from Texas. I then rescheduled with Jay kripp at 9:30am and I guess he just doesn’t care if he has any appointments as he never showed up. I sat there almost 2hrs and a guy named Christian was nice enough to work me in but I’m not a fan of his attention to detail. I will not be back. I do not recommend

Yesterday, I took my 5 year old son to Christian at Wide Awake. The whole experience was exceptional! Christian did an amazing job with my son’s hair and he killed the design that he picked out! He has been smiling from ear-to-ear since he left. He’s so excited to show off his fresh cut on his first day of school. Thank you Wide Awake and thank you Christian for doing such an amazing job!!!

Barber was really cool but the haircut I got was god awful I sat there and told him I wanted a fade and a my hair a bit shorter I look to my side and he cut the top down super short shaved my sides (there was no fade) and not only that but he barley cut the back so the back we super long and thick but the front was like short making it a like a trailer park trash mullet. I already had problems trusting barbers this just made it worse 0/5. made me pay 60$ and I was already mad I wasn’t gonna argue with the dude.

We visited Wide Awake Studio this morning for the Back to School haircuts. 1st- Let's talk about the atmosphere... it's colorful and artsy and definitely a chill barbershop. The barbers were all welcoming. I loved that when a barber came in for work, they fist bump everyone. I noticed this twice. I loved the respect for each other and you can tell they all have a bond. 2nd- the haircuts! They exceeded expectations. Alex cut one of my boys hair, and Erin cut the other. The both were professional. They made me and my boys feel very welcomed. Thank you both. Finally, I didn't catch her name, but there was a sweet woman helping to keep things organized from checking people in, sweeping hair, and keeping everyone comfortable. She was awesome! I had an amazing experience at the barbershop with Alvin! He listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the whole experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Alvin to anyone looking for a great haircut!
