Who Does Your Hair

I was visiting over the summer for my nephews wedding and needed my hair doing. Found this quaint little salon and met Sara who did an amazing job. We had so much fun getting my hair right too. I could tell this was important to Sara and I guess that was mission complete. Thank you so much for making me look and feel special. I’m so sad to be writing this review. I have been coming for years now but my most recent experience ensures I won’t be back . I had a color correction with James and was promised a buttery blonde with confidence and left with black ends, red roots, yellow splotches, orange splotches and grey all in my hair. It was an absolute disaster. I absolutely understand mistakes happen so contacted him saying just that. After contacting James about how disappointed I was, I was surprised in the responses I had received. I wasn’t given any sort of refund after walking out having spent $600. I had already put a darker color over my hair because I had to work the next day but wouldn’t have been comfortable coming back so he can “fix” it. I live in GA, and was visiting my parents in Long Island and my sister recommended Jeanette for a curly hair cut and I could not be happier! My curl pattern is 3a/3b. Finding someone to properly cut curly hair is the hardest thing. She tried a new method she learned and she also gave me tips and product recommendations on maintaining my curly hair. My haircut looked so good afterwards… it’s been 2 months and it’s growing out beautifully. Jeanette was super kind and personable. We talked about so many different topics. She made me feel comfortable and also listened to my concerns. I will most likely go to her again next time I’m in NY. I have recommended her to so many people and will continue to recommend her!

Highly recommend Jeannette for a curly haircut. After having some bad experiences, she immediately made me feel at ease and gave me a great cut. She was charming and fun to be around, talking to me throughout the whole process. Can’t wait to come back.

I went to this salon and Sarah did my extensions. I only had about 15 beaded ones put in. One fell out of my head two days later, so I went back to the salon and she put that one back in and trimmed my extensions again because they weren't laying right. After a few days, I started losing more extensions, so I went in yet again, and had her put them back in and she charged me to replace what fell out (not the full amount she charged me originally, but still charged me). So, after a couple of days passed again, I started losing more extensions. THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IF SHE KNEW HOW TO PUT THEM IN CORRECTLY!!
