Scott was great. Very rare to find a white man who can competently do a black woman’s hair. (Note: I do have a keratin; but regardless still great) I did the K18 treatment: it’s worth trying. Will definitely return.

I am extremely disappointed with the results of my recent trip to Whiteroom salon. The haircut I received was uneven, with random layers that do not blend and a significant number of split ends likely caused by the use of a razor. I asked for curtain bangs but ended up with bangs all the way up my forehead. I have had multiple people point out how one side of my hair is much longer than the other.To make matters worse, Alexis arrived 15 minutes late despite the salon being empty. For such an expensive salon with such high ratings, this was especially disappointing, as I now have to pay an additional amount to fix this haircut

I came here a couple weeks ago because I wanted to re touch my blonde, which was completely ruined!! especially at the front where I have my bangs. The staff is super friendly and the place is nice but the service I was provided with was horrible. The picture below is what my hair looked like after it was “done”. I did not want to make a scene at the salon so I kindly paid and walked away. However I did dispute the charge (which was reversed) because I had to pay AGAIN elsewhere to get the mess fixed. Which is very upsetting!! Please be aware of who you let touch your hair !!! The name of the person who did my hair is Daniela.

I have been coming here for a couple years now. Worth the trek from Staten Island for sure. Between my previous stylist Darby (RIP), and now Steven I have received nothing but excellent service, excellent style, and as much excellent conversation as wanted (or sometimes silence is golden and that is excellent also). I came in with no direction, always having a cheap hair cut with no styling whatsoever. While coming here and getting a great job done, I asked questions about DIY styling (products, technique, shortcuts, &c.) and got nothing but quality answers in return. Although they sell product here, and they use the ones they sell on you during the process there is no pressure of any kind to make a purchase at any time.
