WAPAS SALON SPA

Came for a wash and blow dry which is listed for $39, the lady asked if I was natural under my bonnet and I said no my hair is permed (African American perm) she comes back up to me after having me sit down stating because I had Afro, curly (black people hair) that I would have to pay $89 for a WASH AND BLOW DRY. I said my hair is not curly or natural it doesn’t need to be detangled it just has a little product in it. She goes to say again if the water touches my hair and it curls then I’d have to pay $89. Please do better so offensive but I can say I’m glad she said it before starting my hair although my hair is straight!!!!!!!

I went in ask the lady at front if they did walk ins for a hair cut and wash, I noted the amount on the glass. She stated with a blow dry and Flatiron the price was 89.99.. I didn't get a trim because the lady doing my hair didn't know how to do requested style. I advised I would pay but let her finish was still charged 79.99 no cut, no trim just flat ironed she said the trim was in the conditioning she sounded stupid as he'll either way I again stated that's not what advertised. She didn't care horrible service all thru except for the one doing my hair, she apologized and tried to make the best of what she had done to my hair. Will definitely never go back and wouldn't tell anyone to come here Three ladies discussing my hair instead of coming up with solutions, all I saw was shrugged sho

I went for hair color on the roots. They offered me a dozen other services. But then used a non-keratin safe shampoo on my hair. It took out all the 1 month old keratin that cost $250+. Then they charged me additional to use a keratin safe shampoo for the final wash. It was too late. They were unresponsive to calls and unwilling to make any adjustments. I finslly spoke to a manager who said she’d call Back but never did.

I had a very disappointing experience at WAPAS Salon & Spa. My hair was done poorly, and despite expressing concerns, I was still charged without receiving the quality of service I expected. I felt the stylist lacked experience and care when working with my hair type, which made the entire visit uncomfortable. I would not recommend this salon to clients with textured ,BLACK PEOPLE based on my experience. They do uncharge if you’re “natural” black person also.

Needed a pedicure on short time as I’m a traveling assistant. The stylists were working on themselves (Hair, Nails) and couldn’t decide if to take me as a walk-in or not making faces and whispering among each other as if I’m not standing there..until I finally was taken by a different girl. I requested a French gel pedi, wasn’t terrible but definitely not worth $65. The nails area is poor looking, not worth the price.
