Walnut Street Barber Shop

My son and I both had haircuts (visiting from out of town) and got the $15 haircuts. Anna did a superb job on mine and the barber who cut my son's also did a great job. They were really busy but very patient and kind and worked quickly but thoroughly. Cash only, which I didn't mind.

Been there 4 times got a pretty bad haircut 3 times. Guy closest to the door does good. But the other 2 barbers don't do good work. Specifically the guy that works furthest away from the door is very bad. 1st time he cut it I asked for 1/8th of an inch off the top he cut probably a 1/2 - 1 inch off. To the point he said "wow people won't even recognize you". Haircut was very uneven as well. 2nd time (today) he absolutely butchered my fade. Been getting fades every other week for like 8 years, never had a fade this bad. I wanted to trim the top today as well but learned my lesson with homie last time. Walked in 20 minutes before closing. First time at barbershop. Did not have to wait very long for a haircut. I told the barber how I would like to have my haircut and to my amazement it was exactly what I had asked for! I asked him to do a minor adjustment and humdinger! A perfect haircut! I’m not sure if this is something that other people have come across in getting their haircut but the last barber that was cutting my hair at another barbershop,did not use scissors. He just used clippers for the most part from what I can remember. I think this might have been the difference to some degree! Also it is very obvious to me that the barbers at Walnut St., Barber shop are very good barbers! I forgot the barber’s name that cut my hair but I will edit this review and put his name in the review

Had medium length hair that I had been growing for months. I just wanted the back cut and the sides trimmed. Showed a pic of what I wanted and he agreed. Not only did I get a completely different cut he also left a large buzzed line behind/top my ear. I went back to ask him to fix it after I noticed. He didn't seem to see the issue with it or know how to fix it without cutting it even shorter and said it would grow back in about a week. I went to this shop because I wanted an actual barber that knew what they were doing. I went to Hudson hawk a few streets over to see if they could fix it. The lady was really nice and evened out both sides as best she could. She also cleaned up the back and top of my hair. It was different odd lengths with parts sticking up that should lay down but can't b
