I love the Walgreens photo lab! I often go to the one in East Peoria but I just happened to be in Pekin this day and picking up pictures for my dad. It was so easy to get onto the app, order the pictures, and pick them up in a timely manner. They're so organized and very helpful here! I buy from them many times a year! Some of the deals on there are 50% to 70% off which is really great because I love custom gifts! Do yourself a favor and get the app so that you can see what kind of coupons they have!

I called Walgreens on Broadway to inquire about how much my medication would be and I had a few questions about a medication. The pharmacist Chris, was very pleasant and answered all of my questions He is definitely an asset to Walgreens!

Walgreens Pekin, Broadway Rd location - for pharmacy services, was awful. AT 12:52pm the pharmacy tech, Taryn, flat out lied to us telling us that they had just received my RXs so they weren't ready. I had received a text from Walgreens at 10:35am that my prescription was received by Walgreens and was 'PROCESSING'. When I pointed that out to Taryn, she said that they only got 1 prescription at 10:35, the other one was sent later. She then immediately informed us that they were taking lunch at 1:00 and the pharmacist was busy doing vaccines. Very unprofessional and making us feel like she didn't want to help b/c their lunch break was upon them. We ended up leaving (after oral surgery with NO pain meds). By 3pm, still no update on RXs. This review is strictly for the pharmacy. Not once, but twice have I been told one thing about when my prescription would be ready just to wait around then be told something along the lines of: “We never said that, try again next week.” I understand that I can’t get everything right away, I do. I just don’t like being told it’ll be 20 minutes, to expect a text, and then burn an hour waiting just to go up & check to be told differently. I think it’s entirely unprofessional for two workers to tell me two different things. They weren’t rude to me, but the second girl was confused and didn’t really know what to say when I told her someone else (that I could see behind her through the window) said it’d be ready by now. Why are we so slow? There was 10+ in drive up with one lane and so girl tried hitting my car to cut in front of me. Blocking traffic and waiting over an hour is Ridiculous!!
