I'm new to the area and based on these high marks, I went here looking for a new local stylist. The first time, Derrick overcharged me for a simple dry hair trim. He even added a 3% fee for using a credit card! I want to support black business, so I made another appointment for a sew in with Kanisha. After coloring my hair at home and freeing up four hours of my busy schedule, I walk in and the guy in the front tells me, she wasn't coming in! He admitted that she should have called me, but also admitted that she wasn't sure if she had any appointments or not. Way to make your customers feel important and valued... never again!

Top notch, classy atmosphere, professional and affordable for the expertise of haircare. Inviting and professional staff. Up to date on style, trends, and natural hair care!! I love this place. Kanisha continues you to suprise me with the amazing volume and balance she brings to my hair. I can't believe the strength and healthy texture of my hair thanks to the stylist in this Salon. There is just no place that can manage my hair the same. I literally have to travel for this great service.

Had my hair done here in November, and my hair looks great. The experience was warm, inviting and professional. This business is family owned and operated. Expect reasonable rates and technicians/artists well versed in their craft. If you're looking for a place for hair services, don't look any further. You will not be dissapointed.

My mom goes there & has been bragging about the services. So I decided to give it a shot being new to the area. The atmosphere is so calm, soothing & I felt like I've been knowing them for years!! I’ve been coming to Wa’je for almost two years now! My hair has grown so much and is very healthy! Kanisha is great and she did my wedding hair, too! If you’re looking for a salon in the area I highly recommend Wa’je!
