Vu Hair Salon

This used to be my go to hair salon. The last two times I went was nothing but horrible. The owner cut my hair previously with a bob haircut. I came back for a trim and he used a buzzer to trim it. You can tell it was a wacky, rushed job. $40 for like 10 mins. So whatever. Today I went back and decides to try someone else. I showed her a picture. She was very nice and sweet, but again used a buzzer to even out my hair. I requested she cut the front a little shorter and showed her the picture again. She barely trimmed my hair. It looks nothing like the picture. At this point, I was getting annoyed. I paid the $40 for another 10-15 mins haircut that I could’ve done at home. I will NOT be coming back here anymore. Will go to another salon tomorrow to get it fixed.

We take my son here for haircuts the past 2 years and we love it! They’re fast, gentle, and patient with him from 1month old to 2years old. I would recommend!

I came here to get curtain bangs, but walked out looking nothing even similar to what I asked for. He cut my hair way too short than what I originally asked for, and during the straightening process, I thought I was going to lose half of my hair because of how hard he was pulling. My hairstylist was the main problem. Thanks to this place for giving me more damaged and ruined hair!

Came for a straightening perm, but 1. Walked out with DAMAGED hair - he started on another clients hair and left the chemicals on too long! And his straightener pulls on your hair way too hard. I could hear my hair breaking! 2. Followed ALL of the his directions and my hair is worse than before after washing my hair at home 3. Does not know how to properly cut layers - hair looks choppy! 4. OVERPRICED 5. When I called to let him know - he complained that he worked really hard and that my hair was difficult. But before I started my appointment I asked if the straightening perm will work with my hair texture, he assured me it would and that he has a lot of experience with straightening perms Never will I return!

I came here for hair coloring 2023NOV12. I requested specific strands of my hair to be colored silver and repeated my request 3 times. Vu ignored my request and colored my whole head. I expressed my displease, but paid the entire amount requested by Vu and even gave a $30 tip. However, I would never come here again for my request was intentionally ignored and my wish completely disregarded. Also, thanks for partially burning my scalp (please see attached image).
