VS Nails and Spa

I tried this nail salon out for the first time the day before a Christmas party & it was just no good from beginning to end. First, I got a deluxe pedicure which states comes with a massage and I paid for an additional 10 minute massage. They began the foot massage at 1:14 and ended it at 1:24. Then I asked if they have a callus remover and she stated yes. She then took out the buffer pad and began scrubbing my foot. I asked about the callus softener and she refused to give it to me stating that it would damage my skin because I “don’t have enough calloused skin” which I’ve never been told before. I recently visited this salon to get a dip powder with tips. I’m not a nail expert but I’ve had it done before. The nail tech agreed with my request and there wasn’t much of an explanation. She mentioned something about acrylic, which she explained was the tips and I said okay because I’m looking to grow out my natural nails. Coming to the end, I notice my nails were looking lumpy and show the tech, and she says “Okay one minute.” I’m not entirely sure what she was doing but I asked a couple more times about it and she came off as if annoyed that I kept asking why did they look so lumpy. She repeated herself but gave no explanation. There is a sign that says to let them know if you don’t like something and they’ll fix it. I did but the tech just brushed me off. I’ve had many pedicures before and my nails have never been shaped like this. I asked for a square shape, but several nails were filed diagonally and look uneven. The polish application was also poorly done — messy around the edges and touching the skin, which makes it look unclean and unprofessional. When I mentioned my concern, I was told it was the shape of my foot, which is not accurate. Mistakes can happen, but minimizing a client’s concern instead of acknowledging it was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future clients.

I read a few bad review and with a little doubt my wife and I still decided to give it a shot. We had very experience at VS Nails. The staffs are very friendly and taking good care of our nails during the entire service. They make sure we are comfortable and ask question during service to make sure we like the service they provide! People will have different preferences and it is hard to please everyone, treat everyone with kind heart that all we can say! We definitely will recommend the salon to all of all friends and family!

I’ve been coming here for a year now and they are the best nail salon in the area. They take their time with their services so you don’t feel rushed. They also shape very nicely and are very clean.
