Honestly, Davis is the best barber and stylist I have ever found in Chicago. He has an incredible eye for detail and actually listens to what you want while offering expert advice on what will work best for your hair type. Whether you need a sharp fade or a complex style, he nails it every single time. The shop is clean, the vibes are great, and I walked out feeling like a new person. Don’t bother going anywhere else—ask for Davis!

I came here a few days ago with my son as a last minute decision ( where we usually go it gets booked quickly) since his hair was getting long and needed some shaping. The cut looked okay in the chair and once I got home I noticed it was completely chopped up and uneven. There are long pieces in the back that don’t make sense like the barber just decided not to cut them…and the hair in the front and sides is so uneven and looks like it was just cut straight across into strange layers . It looks terrible and I wish I would’ve noticed while I was there. I had to call our old barber and book an apt weeks from now so it can have some time to grow in so he can salvage it in time for the holidays. 35$ for a kid cut plus tip I won’t be back. Sorry but it’s extremely disappointing. UPDATE: After

This is a terrific barbershop. Clean and bright, the barbershop and customers are all very friendly. I'd describe this as a happy place with folks enjoying the not-too-loud music and leaving with awesome cuts. They truly welcome everyone here and offer discounts for children and seniors. I'm not in their neighborhood, but always worth the drive. Owner is first-rate.

I needed an emergency haircut due to a recent mess up of my hair. This barbershop is in my neighborhood so I walked in without an appointment and JC eagerly assisted me in fixing the problem. He transformed my hair 100 times better than what it was. JC is your guy because of his attention to detail and his expertise. I returned a couple more times and will continue to! The barbershop is clean, nice staff members, and easy free street parking surrounding the shop. Thank you again for saving the day!

First time haircut here and it went great! JC takes his time and even is experienced with hair fibers to cover up thinning areas. A++!
