I don’t usually leave reviews because it makes me feel like a bad person… but this time I feel like I need to. I went to a lady that has recently stopped doing hair. She recommended Penny to me. I messaged Vivid on Facebook to make an appointment. When I got to the salon, they told me I wasn’t in their appointment book for the day, but that they could work me in. That’s fine, totally understand, things like that happen. When I got to the chair, I asked for a trim. I wear glasses, so I take those off for my appointments. As she was cutting my hair, she says that she put in “a few layers to give it some movement.” I usually get a few face framing pieces, but I HATE layers and definitely did not ask for them. I had a faded out natural split dye when I went in that looked like ass. Kim was amazing and a miracle worker! My hair is the prettiest ash brown color now. I will keep going back!

I had the WORST experience of my life at Vivid. I had originally went in and asked for brown blonde balayage and I was given a full set of highlights. So I ended up calling back the next day to complain because I did not get what I paid for and was told to come back in and that the owner Penny would fix it. So I went to see Penny, and after she took the foil out and washed my hair and was back in her chair as she was brushing my hair I saw clumps of my hair out into her hands, and she was trying to hide them as they came out. I was in shock at the time and didn’t know what to say so I didn’t say anything and I also wasn’t as sure if it was as bad as I thought it was. But I was left losing at least 6 inches of length my hair is completely uneven. I have layers that are very. My hair is thin
