I absolutely love this place. The service is always fast and friendly. Today, i got seasonal nails done by Viki and I absolutely love them!

I have been going here for a while. The last few times the quality of my nails have gone down hill. Most recently I got a fresh set on NYE. I had to ask the nail tech to repaint a few times because she was rushing. After correcting 4-5 nails they seemed decent enough to leave. The very next morning multiple nails were bubbling and peeling and one nail even snapped off. Being a holiday I couldn’t have them corrected right away. When I was able to go back they were fixed free of charge. Days later two more nails broke. At this point my nails are two weeks old and I just want to remove them if they’re going to keep breaking. So I made an appointment to have my nails removed. I arrived today at 12pm for my 12pm appointment. I waited 40 minutes before finally just walking out.

Loved this place until I noticed they were charging the merchant fee on my debit card, yes it’s clearly posted they charge it on a cc, but as someone who runs a business & also passes the merchant fee the law in NJ states you can NOT legally pass it to a debit card. I did bring it to their attention, they didn’t care. Considering my bill was $175 for 2 refills and a full set on a 13 yr old child I can’t say I’m happy to see the additional illegal fee

I don’t particularly like leaving bad reviews, especially since I have always heard good things about this salon. I will preface by saying that I have a wider nail bed, and can have some trouble with nail enhancements if the tech does not take their time. Unfortunately, I experienced a lot of lifting at this salon. On my last visit, I expressed to the nail tech that my nails were lifting, and since I was going on vacation, was hoping she could remove the lifted parts. They used clear acrylic so it was very obvious which parts I referred to. I feel that she must have been in a rush bc she did not take the time to address the lifting. Vivian's Nail Salon was the best salon I've been to. The owner is a very nice lady who was attentive to me and my needs. My hands needed multiple trims and she had no problem making my nails perfect. The pedicure was relaxing and made my feet nice and smooth. Great experience. Will definitely go again. Highly recommend.
