Vista Family Salon

Walked in, set an appointment at 12:45, my kid needed a 2 min potty break. My kid was doing great and was incredibly patient for us waiting in their shop she’s 3. For the older lady I was set with to just take a walk in then tell me they’re 2 appointments behind so I’ll need to wait another hour... Waited an hour for nothing. Don’t waste your time walking in much less scheduling an appointment, they won’t honor it… truly is first come first serve. They had no problem taking a person 15 minutes late for his appointment when it was “empty” as I walked in, but cut me out when I was 2 minutes late and actually waiting in store for my time slot.

I've tried to give this place a chance, but ultimately I think need to stop coming here. My main reason is that the clippers the older woman uses hurt, they scratch me and leave me in pain for several hours after (see picture). Not only that, but they are incredibly loud, especially when she's trimming around the ear. Trimmers shouldn't be that loud, so she needs to buy new ones or fix the ones she has because at this point she's hurting her customers. The only positive experience I had is they returned a hat I forgot there once, and the younger girl does a better job. I don't know their names.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Emi at Vista Family Salon. Thanks for a great Haircut! I love it. Been receiving lots of compliments. She was very friendly and professional at the same time. Been looking for a hairstylist for a while and I finally found one. See you at my next haircut!

I like the haircuts and my wife asked me to leave the other place that I had to use during the pandemic and return to Vista Family Salon. The ladies here don't talk much but they clearly try not to keep customers waiting and they get the job done. I think I may have been using this salon for more than five years and hope that it continues to provide good service for years to come.

Super friendly, super talented, super sanitary. Went in for a clean up from something I got done at a barber shop, which was to clean up something from another place in town. Neither were terrible, but I did hair before.... Now. Great techniques. We chatted about dogs and food and traffic. I'll be back in 21 days 😊💚
