Nov 2023. I'm new to the area and desperately needed to find a good barber that could do a flat top. John was perfect. Not everyone can do a good flat top and he is awesome. Coming back every 3 weeks to Ocean Drive in the future.

The best barber shop at the beach. Kevin and Bobby are both experienced barbers and are a dying breed. There are no cable TV's just excellent, reasonably priced haircuts and beard trims. It's right on Main St in N. Myrtle close to the beach, so you have a nice view of the bikinis while you wait. 5 stars.

Unfortunately, less than a minute after I sat down to wait for a haircut, the barber made fun of me to his customer who was in the chair (talking right in front of me as if I could not hear). Mind you, I was coming back because my last cut from this barber was a great cut. However, I do not pay my hard-earned money to people who make fun of me for no good reason. His beef was that I was wearing shorts on a day when it was 51 degrees outside. He said to his customer in the chair: "He's gotta be a tourist because he's wearing shorts." So what. I like wearing shorts because they are more comfortable than long pants. That's my prerogative and I don't need a barber's permission to wear shorts. And I have lived here year-round for years. Kevin did an amazing job with my 3yo son. $13 for all haircuts, . The place looks like it hasn’t changed in 60 years. Loved it.

Kevin is a great barber with my 3 year old son. He really looks forward to having his hair cut. Kevin takes his time and makes sure he’s comfortable and gives him a great cut. The atmosphere is unique and we always look forward to a visit!
