Visible Changes (inside Baybrook Mall)

Went in for a blowout and discussed that I felt my haircut was too blunt and a little choppy but had 2 hairdressers tell me it actually looked good so I did not want a hair cut. I told the hairdresser it would fix itself when it grew out but she said she saw a couple pieces sticking out and would fix it. No hair cut. Got the blow out and noticed she trimmed it and thinned it out, doing more than what we talked out. The blowout hid the bad hair cut so I couldn’t tell until I washed it. It feels like she messed up when trimming the pieces she wanted to and over corrected to hide it. The worst haircut I have ever had, please go to experienced hair stylists and not a mall salon. Now I wanna say this was probably mainly my fault because I wasn’t as vocal as I should have been..but, I got a wash (which felt great) and from there I explained to the stylist that I wanted side bangs but for them not to be past my eyebrow. (I did show a couple of examples I had saved from Pinterest) I also said I wanted to get face framing bangs as well as trim my dead ends cause it’s been a couple years since I’ve actually gone to a salon. (crazy I know, lol) Everything turned out perfect besides the bangs, I think she gave me a straight cut?? I’m not sure but in the end they ended up looking very blunt and small, she had explained to me though that it’s only a small matter of time til they last like that. Everyone makes mistakes (including myself) so I understand. I was a little shake

Horacio is AMAZING. I have been coming to him for about 6 years now and he’s never done me wrong. I have very thick and coarse curly hair and he’s the only person I trust to take care of it. When it comes to my hair I’m a little spontaneous so he’s cut me a nice short bob but has helped me grow out my hair nice and healthy as well (which I didn’t think was possible lol). I get the Express treatment for my hair and it always leaves my hair feeling nice and soft. I don’t have to worry about the frizz as much and we know how hard that can be in Houston. It helps that he’s such a genuine person and I get excited to see him and chat every time I see him. If you want a Stylist who will get to know you and your hair I would 100% recommend Horacio. I absolutely love him!

I came in to get a much needed cut for my thinning/dead ends, and I requested Kody since he did such a phenomenal job the last time I was here. As before, he took the time to listen, asking exactly what I wanted, and my hair turned out amazing! I couldn't recommend more, Kody made sure to preserve the length of my hair while getting rid of any dead weight. Will definitely be coming back regularly now!

Love this place. Blanca is amazing, she can master any color. She listens to the client and then advises you taking into account your hair type. For the haircut, my girl Jenifer is the best. She listens to what you want and provides advice and products that can make a difference for your hair. She is not pushy, she educates you. My hair is so soft, grows fast and she makes it look great. These ladies are the only ones that touch my hair. My friend recommended them and she has been their client for 12 years. Me encanta este lugar.
