VIP Nails and Spa Oakwood

I would not recommend this place. They need experienced nail techs badly. I went in to get a simple gel polish manicure, it took 1.5 hours!!! The lady was clearly inexperienced. The entire process was grueling. The only reason I didn't get up and leave was because it was late and I didn't have time to go elsewhere. The day after my manicure, the gel polish started lifting and eventually came of my thumb. I returned to the shop to have them fix it, only to have the polish lifted and come completely off THREE more nails the following day... Ididn't t even return to have them fix it for a third time. I would never return...

I asked for french tip medium length almond with what i thought was a similar color to my previous ones (the darker blue), the length and shape are fine but the color was a little off (my fault not theirs) and the nails i received were not french tip but more like half of my nail painted blue. i also got a pedicure which was amazing and the polish was fine on my toes. i had a different girl do my pedicure than the one who did my hands. the place i normally go to does a much better job but i wanted to check out a new place. also VIP nails charged me $125 total for the service. never in my life do i pay that much for a pedicure and gel tips.

I don’t recommend this place. It was an older lady that attended me. I asked if they did Gel X and they did but the nail tech was inexperienced. The application was horrible. I made her redo 3 nails and she still did them incorrectly. When I pointed out that one nail was crooked she tried to gas light me and say that it was my own nail when she put the fake nail crooked. I asked her to take them off and she refused to do so that she would “fix them”. I now have water underneath my nails due to her lack of knowledge of application of Gel X nails.!

Amber did amazing for a brand new full set, and it was the end of the day I was very impressed. They waxed and shaped my eyebrows too! I’m definitely going back.

The place to be whenever you think about your beauty! Eyelashes on point.. no glue no dirt! I take my granddaughter there for the experience of being treated like a big girl! I’ve heard that my man fall in love with me over my perfect nail design 🤣🤣🤣❤️ Wendy is awesome and my “beauty boss” so is Jenny! It is the place to be!!! My favorite for months🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
