Violet Nails

Visiting family in Union & broke a nail the day of an important event. Usually get my nails done down the shore, but needed it repaired ASAP. They were able to fit me in and they did an amazing job with the nail repair! You literally can’t even tell which one broke, that’s how closely they matched the original design and shape. Will definitely come in for full service next time I’m in town.

I got there at 3:45 p.m. and asked for a basic manicure and buffing and dip to be removed I didn't leave until 5:00 p.m. and the manicure wasn't complete but I had to leave. It shouldn't take over an hour to take off dip and do a simple manicure with buffing. And when I asked for buffing when I first walked in she said okay. But when I sat down and they got to the buffing point the technician said that they don't do buffing. I am disappointed that I had to leave without getting my manicure completed. And I sat down immediately there was no wait time. And the basic manager was $20 and $5 to remove the dip. $20 is a lot just to have a basic manicure and buffing.

2 stars because sometimes my nails come out nice. This salon is mediocre. With mediocre work. This particular time… my nails look terrible, heart terrible, cuticles terrible. It’s all rushed just to get you out of there. Paint all on my skin, after painting he filed and filed some paint off my nails and was going to send me out like that. When i ask if he can make my nails more narrow he tells Me no… every time I ask for something the aggravation that is followed with it is mind blowing. Every question is followed with a huff and puff — i showed the lady in the front my nails and how terrible they looked she pretended to ignore me. Smh

Violet nails is one of the best in the area. My nail tech Amy is awesome, she is very creative and provides top tier services. I been going to this salon for over 10 years and I never had any problems. I will definitely recommend Violet nails to anyone around the area.

I just moved to the area and am looking for a new nail salon that I can call my regular place. I went here and soon realized it was a BIG mistake. The lady who was doing my pedicure was nice and patient, however the service seemed rushed. In addition, she cut my toe and I was bleeding for 10 minutes. Initially they wiped the blood, and was attentive to the cut, then they put instant coffee on my wound and skin sealant, which did nothing. They soon gave up on trying to stop the blood and at one point I had blood running down my foot. Might I add, the workers never let the owner know that they had cut me at all. When I went up to the front, I let the owner know. She was nice and accomodating, and didn’t make me pay for the pedicure, but I let her know I won’t be back. I don’t recommend this
