CASH ONLY! Gale is an amazing conversationalist and my kind of gal with a sailor's mouth and no-BS attitude. Enjoyed her stories and traveling tips. Love her shop. Stopped by with my dad for his haircut.

It started off really good . But now it has become a day care . Kids running around . The grand parents coming in with there grand children to get food . I think the boys are being way too nice and not professional. A man came in to get his hair cut. A young girl that goes into the barber shop all the time is sitting g in the barber seat . They almost lost a customer . The same ladies keep going In t the shop ask for tea Lemonade etc . The show is getting way too hectic . I watched three episodes I won’t be watching the rest 😢

Victoria did a great job cutting my hair. Gale is very sweet and has a lot of great stories to tell. And the shop is a really cool place with a lot of collectors items in it. I would for sure recommend this place over the Vortex Barbershop!

Went by today, I wasn't really sure where to go since I'm from South Carolina on vacation. Had a fantastic experience and excellent cut! Professional service and will Definitely go again if ever I'm in town!!! Great atmosphere and nice parking which is a must downtown.

I walked in and got served right away. Gail has the mouth of a sailor (for the appropriate audience), the heart of an angel (for everyone who brings cash), and the experience of someone who has been cutting hair for a lifetime (for everyone). I charged her with the impossible task of giving me a haircut that my wife would approve of. She passed...barely, but considering that such an accomplishment is a singular event, trust me when I say that earning my wife's approval is high praise. She even got my hair done in record time! Don't forget to tip her in $2 bills if you have them. The moral of this story is: If you need a miracle . . . you should ask Jesus, but if Jesus inspires you to go to the Village Barbershop, just know that it worked for me. Thanks, Gail!
