Takeaways: - Inconsistent prices for the same service - Uncomfortable bedside manners (makes appointments unpleasant) - Exaggerated skillsets during the consultation process (I’d rather you be upfront if you can’t do something than taking on a client and botching their hair) - Poor work ethic (you feel like things are half-assed, and you’re surprised they let clients leave their salon like that) Overall, I gave this place several chances and did not feel like it was a professional establishment. It felt like being a pet project for recent beauty school graduates. Trial and error but mostly error, and my hair stylist wasn’t good with constructive, polite feedback (she was very defensive). I will not be going back.

I have been going to Victoria Rose Salon for several years now. They are the absolute best! I remember my first time there with the ambition of turning my dark brown hair into pastel pink. Jasmine was very open and honest and guided me in a better direction that still gave me the pink color while being kinder to my hair. She has never steered my wrong. Nicola and Victoria are amazing too! They are so welcoming and friendly each and every time I go. It feels like walking into a friend's house when I go to this salon because it's such a fun atmosphere. I recommend this salon every chance I get because they really can do it all. I moved to New Jersey from Astoria recently and received a recommendation for this salon from a cousin. I went to Victoria Rose Salon for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Vicki is fantastic, listens to what you want and delivers. The blowout was great too. I love how my hair came out!!

After 7 years living in Bergen county I can honestly say I found my place, my hair expert. Came highly recommended by a friend, Victoria Rose Salon is magnificent. Great staff, uplifting and happy environment. Jasmine is superb, makes me feel beautiful every time. Aside from being beautiful, she is pleasant, punctual, knowledgeable, personable just a joy to be around. I am thrilled to have found her and this salon. Thank you guys you are truly the best.
