Victoria Nail Bar & Lash

2.5 stars. I really wanted to love this salon because my first visit was wonderful — the space is beautiful, the staff was kind, and the bar menu is such a nice touch. Unfortunately, my second visit was the complete opposite experience. The technician who did my manicure and pedicure seemed to be rushing through the entire appointment. He wasn’t paying attention and actually scrubbed the back of my leg with the callus remover stone without even apologizing. During my manicure, he cut me while removing a cuticle and I was bleeding. The dip powder was applied very sloppily! My nails came out lumpy, and the powder cured on my skin. When he tried to peel it off, it split my skin open. It still hurts days later. I've posted reviews before but Nicole deserves all of the praise she gets!!! I've never had a bad experience or an inspo pic she can't recreate. My nails are still the same quality days later. Thank you Nicole!!!

So I wanted to try this place a couple times before reviewing and I have to say I'm super satisfied with my experience here. I got my birthday nails done here last month and my new set this month and both times I was very happy. My nail tech Yumi is fantastic. She goes above and beyond to get the little details right. I am very picky about my nails and designs and I have no complaints. This location is newer than the Jericho one which I also like a lot but this is much closer and I like the nail tech here more.

Yumi did a wonderful job on my gel fill in and executed my design. She didn’t try to upsell me. This was my first time with her (i have previously gone to the Jericho location but felt rushed and not the best spa feel there). I’ll return to see Yumi again. Only time will tell the retention of the nails but so far so good. Took off one star simply because some employees were watching something on their phone loud on speaker and i didn’t feel that was appropriate for the ambiance.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. If they don't understand then they need to say that. Hailey was very nice and quick.. too quick for my liking but that's not the problem. I left here pissed! Nail nails are not good. She told me I couldn't get uv nail on my nails until I get a fill in. My nails are very thin.. the gel x application is horrible. It's so much build up u see my nails that will not come off & my French is not even if you look closely. My nails are cut down completely so the line you see when holding them up is the glue build up!
