Vi Nails

I love coming to Vi Nails. I’ve been going for dip manicures every three weeks with Oanh and she does an amazing job!!! She’s so skilled with shaping my nails and her attention to detail is incredible. The dip lasts 3 weeks with no chipping. They have been super accommodating if I ever need to change an appointment too so I appreciate their flexibility. 10/10 recommend!

The lady who did my nails did an OK job. I really liked them when I first left the salon, but I got these done on Friday, May 10th. Not even 3 days later, May 13, Monday, they’re chipping. None on the left hand thankfully, but 3 of my nails on the right hand have already started to come off. I paid $45 + tip for a full dip set just for this to start after not even a week when they’re supposed to last longer than acrylic. Service was fine, they were quick and for a good set, I don’t mind paying $45. Update: I went to get the three nails repaired and Kim re-did them at no cost.

Went for a gel manicure. The “receptionist” asked me what I wanted. I mentioned that I broke a nail or two so I may need to get them evened out and get gel polish again. She didn’t seem to understand and just kept telling me that I pick my color. I picked a pink color but once she did a test swatch; I decided on white instead. Fast forward to her painting my nails. As the polish went in areas of my cuticles and etc she was struggling getting it off. Once my polish was finished they looked HORRIBLE! Large bubbles in the polish misshapen and over all not an attractive job. She asked if I looks them and I told her they looked bad. She went about grinding it off my nails thinning my nail beds. Kim does amazing nails!! Took a risk one day going to VI nails because I had never been and I was NOT disappointed very nice clean quiet environment to get your nails done! Definitely go see KIM!!!

I’ve never had a worse nail salon experience. I went in for a full set of nude acrylics with a simple design. In the process of getting the acrylics the nail technician was so rough with my cuticules and finger beds that I ended up bleeding three different times. After the initial nails were done being shaped, I had to ask for several to be fixed because they were skewed at extreme angles. While the rest were passable, none were near the quality I expected from a nail salon with such good reviews. When we got to the end, the tech had completely forgotten the pattern I had asked for, and when I reminded her, it was clear she was not happy about having to do more work.
