Tammy is incredible! She is a master of her craft and knew exactly what my hair needed. Beyond her knowledge and talent, Tammy has a heart of gold. She is warm and lovely to talk to. I felt so comfortable in her chair--I am so blessed to have found her!

I stopped by to check out Vernons Martins Salon on night and walked up the stone steps into an eclectic, charming 1920s house turned hair salon. Was delightfully greeted by Bonnie and Vernon, who are charming and talented people. They knew what I was looking for when I asked them if they could layer my hair. Most hairstylists I find tell me they can, when they really don't. I was not disappointed! Bonnie layered, blended, and snipped away to achieve what I wanted, and I am very happy to have found someone who gets me!

Vernon colored my hair, as requested. The color wasn't very attractive and I asked him to fix it. He found something that could cover the awful color and put it on. After 15 minutes he started washing it out and then told me that I had active hair loss. Confused about what he was talking about I didn't answer him. He told me that he doesn't like people anymore like he used to, a clear sign that he shouldn't be doing hair. A few days later I started to notice how much hair was actually falling out, which hadn't happened before. My hair was actually breaking off in clumps because it had been over processed and my ends looked green, which is a classic sign of over processing. He tried to pass it off as hair loss to me. This salon is out of this world! It has such a unique and homely vibe feeling when you walk in. The artists are older but they've mastered their techniques and my teens were thrilled about their color and cuts. We would all highly recommend this location and will be returning.

We had a fantastic time at this salon with Carla who was personable, a master of color, cut and very cordial. My color now is unlike any I have gotten in all my years and I love it!! I am a fan and yes, I will return. Many thanks, Carla. 👍
