I was always worried to get a haircut in the States, but Vera handled my pin straight Asian hair nicely! She also knows well what styles most people want. Total $95 with wash and blow dry, and NU students get a discount.

I've been to Vera's twice and I've loved my results. I'm a local college student and the haircuts I get here are high quality and fairly priced. Vera only charges around 35-40 dollars for NU students. Both times have been walk-ins and I've never had to wait long to get my hair cut. I will be happily getting my hair cut here until I graduate.

Vera is the absolute best! If you are lucky enough to come across her amazing shop, be prepared for amazing vibes, coffee and cookies, and, of course…. Top notch color and staying!!! I had such a great experience at this salon! Vera was amazing!! Not only is she incredibly kind and lovely to be around, but she’s also extremely talented. She’s been running her salon for years, and it shows in the quality of her work. I have curly hair, which can be hard to trust people with, but Vera did such an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with the cut. I highly recommend this salon if you’re looking for someone who really knows what they’re doing. Plus, it feels great to support a wonderful local business owner!
