Venetian Nail Spa-Alton Town Center

Today I visited this wonderful place for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! It’s beautiful, clean, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, the front desk girls are so kind, polite, and helpful — they explain all the services and answer every question with a smile. I went without an appointment, and they still received me right away. Ivy did an amazing job on my hands and feet — they look gorgeous! Mimi took care of my eyebrow waxing, and Donna did the tinting perfectly. Thank you so much, ladies! Everyone there is super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I 100% recommend this place! 💅💖

My nail techs were very nice and did a good job. Justin has fantastic customer service and was super kind! He deserves 5 stars. The front desk lady, however, with the curly hair, has the worst attitude I’ve probably seen in my life. Over the course of the 2.5 hours I was there, she was spewing her negative energy to every client that walked in, every nail tech, and even to the girl she was training. I kept thinking it was maybe just a bad moment or she came across a certain way, but she genuinely was a rude person. She even yelled at the girl she was training in front of customers and just had the worst body language, huffing and puffing and acting like everyone was the biggest inconvenience. Should have been more vocal but the nail tech wasn’t listening to me anyways. I have big thick glittery Halloween orange chiclets on my hands now…tried to address at customer services but apparently even when they’re asking for a tip to do their job, asking for some sort of customer service is a huge inconvenience. This salon is most definitely not what it used to be. Just sad that I shouldn’t have felt that I just lit $100 on fire.

BEWARE. My husband got a manicure here and ended up with a serious infection. The tools are clearly NOT properly sterilized. This is completely unacceptable and unsafe. The owner has not even had the decency to return our call. Do NOT risk your health coming here.

I have been going to Venetian for over 4 years an Leah has been my tech for 80% of that time! She is awesome and does my gel manicures and pedicures. She's maticulous and knows has great color combo recommendations. If you're looking for someone to do your nails I'd absolutely recommend her!
