Vann's Barber & Style Shop

The place was easy to find and the staff was welcoming. Unfortunately, the “barber” that was next up for a customer had a tough time with a basic haircut. She was really nice but had no idea how to do a medium skin fade and trim the top. It got worse when she began to freehand with the clippers to “blend” and didn’t use a comb to help.. that resulted in a few patches missing on one side. I ended up having to get it fixed at another local shop which was understanding and courteous. I don’t mind paying $30+ for a quality cut, but I can’t recommend this shop and would say you could have better luck at any other shop in town.

I always have a good experience when I go to Vann’s for a haircut. Everyone is friendly and the shop has a family feel. Today Caleb cut my hair and I was extremely pleased. He was very precise, fast and cordial.

Stopped by in need of a quick haircut while visiting the island—no wait, great service, and Caleb did an awesome job. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid cut and friendly atmosphere!

Vans barbershop is an awesome place to go get your haircut. They are family owned and operated since 1962 so come support our local business and not only that but they do a really good job especially Lisa. She’s she’s my barber, but they are fully staffed now I know Donna and Lisa were the only ones working there for a while, but hardly no way, no fuss no mess. I gave him a five out of five.
