I can’t say enough good things about this place and my barber Daniel! He’s not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely caring and easy to talk to. Over time, he’s helped me feel confident and comfortable with my receding hairline — something I used to be really self-conscious about. Every visit feels like catching up with a friend, and I always leave feeling great about how I look. Huge thanks to him and everyone at the salon for creating such a welcoming and positive environment. Highly recommend!

This is my first time coming to this place, and will most definitely be coming back. I stopped by earlier in the week to set up an appointment for today. Once I arrived today, I was checked in, and waited for a small bit while my stylist was finishing up. They have a couple of magazines you can look through, and with complimentary drinks too while you wait. Ms. Pace was my stylist for today and she did an awesome job! Before we began, she asked the usual questions to get an idea for how to proceed with the cut. I have long hair for a guy so this is always a welcomed step to make sure the cut comes out great. She shampooed my hair prior to the cut, and also asked to see if I wanted a hot towel on my face during the shampoo. First time doing that, and it felt pretty good! Ms. Pace made su

Finally a haircut that doesn’t suck! Darnell is THE MAN and i have finally found my new barber. Start to finish it was a great experience- Darnell listened and took his time… and it shows. He never rushed and insured me I was gonna get a great cut. He wasn’t lying and I will definitely be returning as a regular from now on! Say goodbye to the other shops around Cumberland/Vinings and make the move to Van Michael Men - ask for Darnell while you are at it.

I have been loving my experiences here. Imagine a barber shop, but nicer like a salon, yet not snooty like a salon. They are hitting a nice balance for men where you have an upgraded experience over a barber shop without all the bells and whistles of a salon for women. Everyone is super nice and they cut hair like salon pros. The only to watch out for is check the baseball schedule before you make an appointment. It’s best to avoid the Battery during ball games for things like this.

If you are a male, with long hair, who feels like their long hair isn’t working out the way you’d like, GO TO LIAM. My hair has always reached a length where I feel the need to cut it all shorter because it doesn’t look right. With Liam’s insight and experience he was able to help me reach the looked I’ve always wanted that allowed me to continue growing my hair!
