In regards to Leslie Walker: On Oct.2, I scheduled an appointment with Leslie Walker for Oct. 8 at 11am and sent her my $25 deposit before leaving the salon. On the date of the appointment I arrived at 10:45am, 15 minutes ahead of time, and waited. At 11am, no one came. At 11:15am, no one came. At 11:30am, with no beautician to be found, I contacted Leslie twice and received no answer, as the message went straight to "This person is not accepting calls.", etc. I contacted Ms. Val and explained my situation, to which she responded with nothing but absolute kindness and help. I returned to the salon Oct. 9 to see if Leslie was in to collect my deposit back after not receiving services. Val's Hair Gallery has 2 of the most friendliest and experienced beauticians - the owner, Val, and Leslie. You won't come out like you went in... from your hairstyle makeover to the positive and encouraging environment. Love this place. It's a must try!

I was able to get in touch with her same day. I used facebook messenger which made it much easier. It's just her running the salon so calls may be a little delayed when she's working with a customer. This was my first time coming in to see her and she did an incredible job. She took her time and was thorough. Which was nice since other places rush you along. I have a hard time finding someone I trust to relax or even cut my hair and she did amazing. Her services are affordable, and she's military friendly as well. It had a nice at home feeling for the environment. She is well worth checking out. I definitely will be returning.

I decided to give this place a try despite it not having any reviews. I walked all the 2 miles from my apartment to this salon because they said they were open at 8:30. It is now 8:50, I'm as still standing outside and they're still not open. I called and no answer very disappointed!!!
