Valmont for The Spa at The Setai, Miami Beach

Workers there are sweet, but there’s far better spas. The area is small, the “relaxation” room is not relaxing at all, the massage area and the locker are no where near each other-you have to walk through hotel lobby with your robe on and take the elevator to the 18th floor to get to the “spa” area. Everything is out dated. Also there was no music during my massage because the system wasn’t working so I had to play relaxation music on my phone. Honestly save your money and go somewhere else… the only pro about the spa is the workers and the beach access

I recently treated myself to a spa day at The Setai in Miami Beach and it was pure magic. From the moment I arrived, the calm, elegant atmosphere completely melted away the outside world. The spa itself is stunning - serene, beautifully designed, and feels like a hidden sanctuary right on the ocean. My treatment was incredible (exactly what I needed), and the therapist was truly gifted - intuitive, professional, and made the entire experience deeply relaxing and restorative. I have been a guest of the Setai many times but I never had the time to try the SPA. I absolutely loved my treatment, the therapist did an amazing job with me. The location is also amazing, while the sauna is close to the pool on the ground floor, the massage are done in the residential tower on the 18th floor where you have an incredible view. I booked a couples massage at Valmont Spa in the Setai Miami for my birthday with my wife, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Booking was a nightmare. We called multiple times over two days and only got voicemails. It took serious effort just to get someone on the phone to confirm our appointment. We were promised pool access, but when we arrived, we were told it wasn’t allowed. No explanation, no apology—just a flat refusal. The elevator to the massage floor was broken, so we had to walk up a long flight of stairs. Not exactly the luxury experience you’d expect from a high-end spa. The massages themselves were subpar. Massage was okay, the up charge was ridiculous, NO POOL ACCESS, PAID extra for beach chairs… so basically nothing included when you book spa. You get the massage and get to see a view from the 18th floor… that’s it. Not worth it at all!!! So disappointed.
