V Star Nails

My daughter had received a gift certificate for her 11th birthday and we went with her friend that gifted it to her. The girls had a great experience, the nail techs were so nice with them and understanding with my daughter moving from time to time. They both received a manicure with gel polish with an added design.

We love it here. So far every tech we've had does a great job. Hana and the crew are fabulous! The salon is very clean and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

A couple days ago I went to this salon with my mom. Our expectations were high because we walked in some days prior to ask for an appointment and the lady’s were very friendly, however this changed when we were at the appointment. The lady was very nice at the start but ended up in a rush and ignored us when we asked her to change something about the design and finishing steps of our nails. She refused to put a topcoat over my nails which led to pearls and pieces of the polish to fall off within 2 days. (See picture above). When my mom’s nails were halfway done the lady came off very rushed and did not reply nor listen to anything we said, which makes us post this review. We do not think that the price you pay is worth it compared to the result you get. What started as a nice girls day end

Pictures speak for themselves. Everyone makes mistakes I get that but Danny was so rough. The drill cut me and I jumped and he went back in and it happened immediately again cutting me so bad. I was bleeding and he just continued the service. I am super awkward and hate confrontation so I did not speak up. He continued to pour something on it that made it sting so bad. He continued on with the service , filing that nail super rough. He ended up cutting me another time as well with the cuticle cutters. He almost cut a whole chunk off but I pulled my hand back. He told me from the beginning what I chose wouldn’t “make him happy” he went extremely short because he didn’t like the picture of the coffin nails I showed him. Just frustrating. I never get my nails done but my fiance wanted to send

10/10. Overall wonderful experience. I love the elegance and classiness of the salon. The music is so soothing and the watercolor paintings are so picturesque. John is an absolutely incredible nail artist to hire & I recommend his service for those looking for the best results and for all new clients. John spent time with me to go over photos I had selected, to find the right colors and to perfect the shape. John paid extreme attention to detail and ensured that I was satisfied throughout the whole process. John is very kind and attentive and humorous. Extremely professional service, absolutely wonderful experience. Will definitely be back again. These are my favorite nails ever. Thank you John!
