V Nails

This nail salon is my new favorite place. My nail tech was fast and efficient. 😊

As soon as I walked in, my friend and I felt so welcomed, even when it seemed so close to their closing time.. they did not rush us at all! Tom took his time with each and every one of my nails, making sure they looked perfect! Even after 2 weeks my nails look so beautiful, they’ve never felt so cared for (I inserted pic after 2 weeks of gel manicure)! Tweedie was so sweet and she radiates so much joy, I cannot wait to go back to get my nails done for the Holidays!

** update came back today and had a horrible experience with a pedicure. The poor selection of outdated colors and the bad attitude from person who helped me earned them a lower rating from my previous review. She was definitely not in a good mood. It was not only the fastest and most horrible pedicure I had in a long time it was also a bad color. I asked to change it to a darker shade she was not pleased. Then told me plain and simple that’s it. I will not change it again if you don’t like it. Well I didn’t. now I can tell what the problem is. They dilute their products so much so they all look like transparent resemblance of a color. Won’t be back. Highly suggest to stay away too many better places in Bethesda to choose from. I like this place. The staff is friendly, patient, and accommodating. I’ve had their gel manicure several times, and have always been happy with them.

I visited here once a few years back and a couple of times recently. The nail techs are nice and welcoming, but my most recent experience is the reason I won't go back. I had a gel almond-shaped set that cracked within 24 hours. A few more cracks and two broken nails occurred within a week. When I went back to the salon to explain what happened and ask for a nail removal, they did not appear apologetic. I was told that almond-shaped nails break easily, but I have never had this issue with previous almond-shaped nail sets from other salons. The woman who removed my nails cut one of my nails to the point where it bled. I was also left with uneven nails that I had to fix myself when I got home. I did appreciate them for not charging me for the removal, but the whole experience was very uncomf
