Urmi Eyebrow Threading

The ONLY place I will ever go to for my Brows. They are so detailed and patient. I love it here. I also tried henna here and it is beautiful. This is 2 days after my brows and henna. My eyebrows are 100% natural and FLOURISHING. I refuse to go anywhere else EVER! They are the best! Hema is the best!!

This is the only place I love in Nutley for eyebrows and I have tried 2 others (one on Franklin Ave). Usually at eyebrow place you will have one person who you’d like to thread your eyebrows but at Urmi I am fine with entire staff because they all are so talented. I just took one star because I feel one lady/ probably the owner is so cold in terms of greeting. I have never had the chance to get my eyebrows done with her yet. Not once but at least 2 times I have noticed she would greet to most customers except me. I have seen this Indian behavior sometimes in other Indians and I don’t advocate for that being an Indian. But again I don’t do business with them and here I am doing it. Giving money plus tip because they all deserve it for the amazing service they do. I wish that owner could be

There is no greetings or acknowledgment upon arrival, no “thank you” or “have a nice day”. The owner is VERY rude. The owner always stare at me and give me looks, even while I’m getting my eyebrows done, which makes me very uncomfortable. Especially since I never get my eyebrows done by the owner nor have I spoken to her, I always go for another employee and not the owner. There’s been two times where the owner denied my business, which I did not appreciate. The first time I was denied was when I went to the store about 15/20 mins prior to closing. The owner was with a customer, I walked in and she told me to come back another day because they are closed. There was nobody else in the store, I could’ve been easily the last customer of the day. I've been a regular at Urmi Eyebrows for about two years, seeing Hema. While her work is consistently great, her attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve experienced her mood fluctuations firsthand, as she sometimes refuses to do my brows, claiming she’s “not working,” only to change her mind later. This inconsistency is frustrating, making it feel like I have to beg for her to do my brows. It shouldn't be a back-and-forth ordeal—either you're available to provide the service or you're not. This aspect of my experience has made visiting less enjoyable than it should be.

I have been coming to Urmi for years and have never encountered any issues. They are amazing and we are all very particular about our eyebrows and other personal services. For anyone claiming they don’t like black or brown, that’s 1000% incorrect. If they’re busy, they may not have noticed you, but racist-NEVER! They are amazing and take their time to work with each customer individually. I will continue to return.
