During my second visit to Urban Nails for a fill, Kelly, who has long eyelashes, struggled with the black ombre design. The sprayer was not charged/broken, so she painted over the spotty sprayed black nail polish with black liquid nail polish resulting in an uneven and streaky look. After multiple attempts to fix and two hours later, I politely suggested returning later to fix it due to my dinner plans. As I paid (45.00 plus 15% tip) Kelly stated an $15 charge to redo tomorrow when I return. I was told by Tony, who did my original set, it would be an $45 charge to refill with ombre. He used a small sponge and black powder to do the ombre originally. Kelly used liquid nail polish and a sprayer. Tony was amazing and he was so sweet. He recreated my nails exactly how I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. He was very patient with me and everyone else in the salon was nice. They gave me a sprite. I definitely will be coming back here!

Tony at Urban Salon is amazing! He’s so talented, quick, and detail-oriented — my nails always look perfect and last for weeks. I always leave feeling so happy with his work. Highly recommend him if you want beautiful nails that actually hold up!

I wanted to try the pedis and the acrylic nail services before I reviewed this shop. Salon? Anyways...I got the pedi when my husband and I went earlier this month and it was a great experience. I found myself needing a fill on my nails today and decided to get it done here. I was NOT disappointed! The man that did my nails was named Mike and he is a total perfectionist. I am too which is why I was so happy with my nails. If you've had a bad experience with nails here, I would recommend trying again with Mike! I might be mad at myself for this glowing review when he gets super busy. He's that good. I showed him a picture and he recommended I get a new set since mine were brittle and cracking under the gel polish layer. With removal, new set with nude color powder, and a gel french manicure

I went in for a manicure, pedicure with regular polish, and an eyebrow wax, and unfortunately this was one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had. I had gel on my toes that needed to be removed before the pedicure. Despite reminding the nail technician twice that I wanted regular polish, she forgot to remove the gel and went through the motions of soaking and scrubbing my feet as if the pedicure was complete. When I pointed it out, she seemed surprised and quickly filed the gel off but didn’t bother with basic steps like cuticle care or trimming. To make matters worse, she applied gel polish instead of the regular polish I had requested.
