I highly recommend Zach. When I first moved to Indy, I was going to local barbers for a couple years and would get a different haircut each time. Zach provides a consistent, stylish haircut and I wish I had found him earlier. I am not the most talkative person, but felt comfortable with him from the start and now look forward to our conversations. He's prompt but there is a nice waiting area if you arrive early. He is willing to work with you on your style, but after my first experience years ago I trust him to do his thing. He is responsive to phone/email, and it's been great getting to know him over the years.

Zach has been cutting and coloring my hair for about two years now, and I'm always really pleased with his willingness to listen to what I want and give me a fresh cut and look that I can feel good about. As a busy professional and mom, I appreciate Zach offers a wide selection of times at his shop. The downtown location if convenient, with easy parking. I also really enjoy Zach's great uptempo tunes, and lively conversation. He's really a great host and a talented stylist!

I've had my hair cut by Zach quite a few times. He's an excellent stylist and my cuts always turned out the way I want them to! In additional to being very professional, I enjoy our conversations while I'm getting my hair done! I recommend Zach very highly!

Get in contact with Zach long before you need a hair cut because his schedule gets full quickly for to repeat business. I think most of us would say he's great at what he does and you'll love the result. Get to the building a few minutes early to look at the historic pictures in the lobby as the building had been around for over 110 years.(which had nothing to do with Zach but helps illustrate that he's a good part of the story of Indianapolis)

Been going to Zach for many years now. As a hairstylist, Zach listens to my needs and ensures I walk out of his salon looking good and with what I asked for. He's extremely personable, and he focuses on his client. Compared to other salons in the Indy area, I get the style I want without paying the exorbitant prices other salons charge. I highly suggest Urban Designs by Zach.
