Uptown Spa

I kept telling the nail tech that he was hurting my skin but he kept going. I have bleeding skin next to me nail now. Paid 50 for a very thick gel set Do not recommend.

My christmas nails after less than a week😩1st time to see gel mani (hard gel) off the nails in less than a week, usually it lasts until the tech removes it off. And the hard gel was suppose to add more protection to my nails but unfortunatly this didn't happen, I regret paying all this money for an unprofessional work, and also I have no time before christmas to redo my nails, thank u for ruining my christmas 😭😭😭

Very unsanitary. They reused tools between clients, didn’t change gloves after touching someone else’s feet, and rushed through my appointment. I was cut multiple times, and now both my mom and I have toe infections. Extremely careless and unprofessional. I would upload a picture but looks terrible and super painful. Never going here again !

The bald male employee here is SO incredibly rude. I asked for a service that I guess they don’t provide (replacing a tip on my toenail, as it broke while I was trimming my toenails). He just yelled at me so loudly in front of other staff and customers. So unfair professional and unnecessary. I’ve only been here twice and the first time (last week) the female with blush colored hair did my fingernails and she was fine. Foothill Nails across the street are excellent; I’ve been going to them for years but they were full today. Not ever coming back here to uptown spa again. The opposite of a “spa” experience—super stressful.

It was my second time coming here and I must say, I’ve enjoyed both of my experiences. Everyone was friendly and kind. I made appointments each time and they were always available. Upon arrival, I was seated immediately. Nancy did my pedicure and she was amazing and quick. Sang did my acrylic set and she SLAYED the damn thing. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she did exactly just that. Great service and reasonable prices. I think I found my go to nail salon!
