I walked in like most people do now — phone only, planning to tap to pay. That is extremely normal. If a store has a special rule like “PIN required for tap,” it is on the store to post that clearly at the door or at the register. Which is the policy at this store. I calmly tried to find another way to pay and asked if they accepted Cash App or Zelle as a backup. I then turned to my friends to see if one of them could help. One also had tap-to-pay, and the other had a Cash App card and offered to let me send her the money so she could pay. I agreed to that solution and we were in the process of resolving it when the cashier decided to comment…. Lady up front needs help in customer service skills. Very rude and on the phone the entire time. Selection is small and store is very disorganized.

I had been patronizing her business almost 10 plus years until today , I will no longer return . Lady owner got mad at me because I was 2.00 short on my card and I asked for a refund and she said no and threw the bag and told me just take the items and told me I better bring her 2.00 that I owe her . I am going to do the right thing and bring her 2.00 I owe her and will never return to her store again . I used to love going here until today I shall no longer return . Beauty 101 is wayyyyy better anyway . Her store is shitty and unorganized.

I went to universal beauty for a last minute hairstyle and was gifted with a couple of free samples to really fleek my hair style. The owner was very helpful and answered all questions I had in regards to the products I purchased. Thank you so much and I will be back to do business again.
