Been going there for over 20 year. Very professional and welcoming. Pierre is the greatest, always there when needed. Recommend Universal Barber Shop to friends, famil and even stranger.

Horrible and atrocious service by Pat (Patricia). She was unprofessional and didn't do the style requested or anything similar. The first picture, she couldn't do and the 2nd picture, she did nonsense, like a parody. If you're a professional and not an amateur with some decency, you make recommendation or suggestions. When the abomination is done she says, “child moved their head, ” he is 4 years old. Save yourself the aggravation go to Destiny Kids or Tangled to get your kids hair done, run from this stylist. This is a typical what I asked and what I got for gone wrong. When I speak to her politely still trying a remediation, she has a disgusting attitude and is nasty.

I've been cutting my hair at this shop for 30 years. SOBER's is a world class barber. His precision and attention to details is impeccable. Best shop in Brooklyn!!!!!!!

Very decent and clean shop. Anthony is my guy.They are always pleasant. The shop is conveniently located 2 blocks from the #3 train on Sutter Ave-Rutland Road.

What can I say.. I basically grew up in this place from young and I am now 35... I recently just received a haircut here and I took my brother in law from DC and he was impressed with is 1st Brooklyn haircut
