I have visited this salon twice prior to my last visit. The stylist I had been going to no longer works there. I went for a trim. Same one length hair cut I have had for years, I have an under cut but visit my barber for that part so it should have been fairly easy, just needed a couple inches taken off. Cut was complete, hair was blow dry and all looked fine at that time. Washed my hair 2 days later and there was a noticeable length difference from left to right. I called to talk to a manager or owner to see if I could come into have it fixed. I was told to come in and it would be taken care of. I saw the same stylist and showed/explained to them the issue. They had somewhat of a defensive attitude but took scissors and cut a few places here and there. Did not address the longest side whi

$400 hair appointment for an uneven dye job with high-damage EDIT: but then a complimentary revision appointment that resulted in a better final product but still nowhere close to what I was asking for. price listed above is inclusive of tax, haircut, tip, consultation, and hair dying I recovered from alopecia and I was so excited to get my hair done again for the first time in a long time. I went from a place where I was afraid to brush it (because clumps would fall out) to a place where I could dye it because it had grown back and was strong enough. I am, unfortunately, one of those fussy, terrible people who are never happy walking out of the salon; it takes me a few days to truly love, or hate, a salon visit. That being said, Krystal is an amazing stylist. I've been here twice to see her, once for a significant color and cut correction, which turned out perfect, and a second time for an all over color and curly cut. Krystal was very honest with me regarding the color, explaining that the type of color that she was applying would initially look very dark but after a few days to a week would fade out to the ideal balance of color and highlight , and she was correct. I also would not trust anyone else for a curly cut, her curly hair cutting style is perfection. My only cons is that this place is a little too expensive for my budget

Mak is amazing! Highly highly recommend letting her work her magic on you. I went in needing a new permanent stylist; and left feeling like I found the perfect match. She absolutely got what I needed and made me feel really comfortable asking for what I wanted as well. The whole experience was top notch with a coat check, great service and quality products to buy. I left with a new product and as a forever customer.

WOW.. Safe to say, I've found my permanent salon! Not only is the environment so welcoming and lively, but their stylists are top notch. I have been seeing Shea for extensions, cut and color for over a year and a half, and it's the most I've loved my hair, ever. She's very knowledgeable about hair health and what might look best for each individual, not to mention extremely talented when it comes to lived in color and extensions. I would recommend Union Salon to anyone and everyone!
