Ultra Beauty Supply Salon

Came in for some products and was impressed by their big selection of salon and professional-approved hair products. Whoever curated the store’s stock did a great job. I thought this would be similar to a Sally’s or like my other local beauty stores but it’s really not. They had some items the local Ulta’s don’t and all at a bit of a lower price than other big name stores. Everything was well organized and easy to find too. The store is big, well lit, and has a salon space in the back. Reading the other comments, I’d also love to see more textured hair products.

Very poor quality products that are overpriced. I had to dig through the bin of spray bottles to find one that wasn't broken (it was in fact still broken and I had to return it), I couldn't find any normal elastic hair ties, and all the hair products are outdated. The employee that checked me out also coughed all over my credit card and items that I purchased which I really DID NOT appreciate. I highly recommend going to Ulta instead.

So helpful every time I go in! I always feel confident in their recommendations. I needed to neutralize my brassy hair and slightly darken it. The stylist recommended a product that made my hair look and feel great, and instructed me on how to apply it. I am grateful for such knowledgable and friendly service in north county!

UNBELIEVABLE bad experience with hairdresser Nicole. I sent her 8 pics of my hair and a pic of the color I wanted so she'd know EXACTLY what colors to provide but when I arrived she was pacing around trying to find the red sample of one of her two color lines, couldn't find it so couldn't even let me choose a color from one of the two color brands and then told me she couldn't even dye my hair as she had NO RED SHADES close to the color I wanted IN EITHER OF HER TWO COLOR BRANDS!! I'd waited over a week for this appointment so she had plenty of time to prep. So I had her cut my hair..the bangs are over an inch different in length and still too long even though I emphasized wanting them out of my eyes..they're still in my eyes and a mess. Total waste of time and money. I was so uncomfortabl
